Kevin Briley is President of Summit Interactive, Ascend Math’s parent company. During his 10 years with Summit Kevin has been instrumental in the development of their leading product lines as well as founding Ascend Education. Kevin was with Paramount Pictures for 15 years before leaving to pursue his passion of helping students graduate high school and lead more productive lives. At Paramount he held management positions of increasing responsibility culminating with responsibility for worldwide PayTV sales. Kevin sits on numerous boards including the Alliance 4 Education, Entrepreneurs’ Organization of New Orleans, Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Southfield School.
Marjorie Briley is responsible for business development and marketing. With over 10 years of experience in Educational Technology, Marjorie enjoys helping schools develop successful implementation plans so that they can help students maximize math performance. Marjorie obtained a BBA in marketing from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Prior to establishing her career in Ed Tech, Marjorie held positions in Corporate Finance at two Fortune 50 finance companies. Marjorie is a member of DOLS and serves on several boards serving at-promise youth.
Carl Crawford is the Director of Media Operations for Summit Interactive. He has been with SI for seven years. Carl has a diverse set of skills with background in print, web site development, graphic design, and technology. Carl has helped Summit Interactive grow from a primary focus on educational video tapes to a diverse multi-media operation. With Carl's lead, Summit Interactive and Ascend Education are on the cutting edge of developing educational media using video, Flash, Java and HTML delivered on the web, interactive CD and DVD ROM, DVD, streaming video, and iPod video.
April Lee is the Implementation Specialist for new and existing Ascend accounts. April assists with the initial set-up of Ascend and is dedicated to the day-to-day customer service needs for all of our clients. As part of the initial set up, April conducts both web based and on site trainings for schools new to The Ascend Math Solution. Before coming to Ascend in 2007, April worked seven years in retail management with a strong focus on customer service, training, and staff development. April attended Middle Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelors degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Jack Allen is the Sales Coordinator for Ascend. He is responsible for organizing and communicating vital lead and sales information to clients, sales representatives, and upper management. Before coming to Ascend, Jack graduated from Louisiana Tech University with degrees in marketing and Spanish. He went on to be the founder of Cupio Media LLC specializing in photography and graphic design. At Ascend Jack is using his skills to better serve his clients and ultimately, students across the nation.
