Jennifer Krzystowczyk Instructional Technology Facilitator for Bellevue Public Schools, NE recently provided great advice to schools incorporating iPads into their classrooms.  Her blog was posted in Edutopia.

“Assuming teachers will know what to do with them is a completely false assumption. Our model has been one of control, training, coaching and reflection. Not everyone in our district receives a cart of iPads. Out of approximately 800 teachers, 16 have sets of 30 iPads.”

She goes on to explain a 3 step process for introducing iPads into your school and what you can expect to gain from them.  We know one thing you could gain.  Ascend Math works brilliantly on iPads and all other tablets.  Providing students with ready access to Ascend Math means they’ll fill math skill gaps even faster.
