What can Ascend do for you?

  • Ascend is completely aligned to TEKs.
  • Several districts in Texas and throughout the nation have experienced significant student achievement gains using the Ascend Online Math Solution. Click here for Case Studies.
  • The Ascend Online Math Solution Supports the Rural Tech Pilot in the following ways:

Differentiated learning plans for each student

The Intensive Technology-Based Academic Intervention Pilot Program requires each student participating in the pilot to work individually on his/her own needs. The Ascend Math Solution automatically creates a Personal Education Plan for each student, based upon their taking an initial diagnostic assessment and then, through the use of continuous formative assessments, Ascend adjusts study plans according to students’ ongoing individual needs.

24/7 access for students, teachers and administrators

The Rural Tech Grant Application requires that students have access to selected supplemental learning solutions a minimum of 10 hours per week. The Ascend Math Solution permits access far beyond that requirement. As on online, web-delivered instructional resource, The Ascend Online Math Solution is available 24 hours per day — anytime, anywhere a computer with Internet access is available, from school classrooms, computer labs or libraries, from home or from public libraries.

Tracking individual students’ progress and achievement

The Rural Tech Grant Application further requires selected pilot sites to record individual students progress, including the amount of time each individual student spend within a given program. This requirement is addressed via the Ascend Math Solution’s rich reporting capabilities which provide individual and class progress reports, including the amount of time individual students spend within the system. Professional development

The Rural Tech Grant Application requires that an instructional facilitator be provided with professional development on the supplemental instruction product being used. Ascend is pleased to provide a variety of professional development options. Please contact your representative for more information.
