In 2015, Bibb County schools began a Flexible Learning Program (FLP) utilizing Ascend Math in several schools including Howard Middle School.  The students in the FLP are those most at risk of failing math.  These students fall in the lowest 25 percentile. Bibb’s FLP is a blended learning model designed as direct instruction coupled with online learning for math.

The success they achieved at Howard convinced them to expand the program to other schools in the district. By year two, the at-risk students were outperforming their peers on the state test.  This webinar will include a discussion of the structure of their program, the tools used and the results of the past two years.
